Aztalan State Park POTA k-1437

2022-06-22 ​Spent the morning at Olbrich Botanical Garden in Madison, WI with my wife. Then she spent an hour with me at Azatlan State Park K-1437 about a half hour east of Madison while I activated it. She's nice like that! 13 contacts, 11 on 20m and 2 on 30 meters, all CW. Three p2p. Used the ic705 and WRC mini with 17ft chameleon whip and 4 ten ft radials. Ended abruptly when the antenna blew over, twice! No damage, but time to quit! Band noise was minimal and most signals reasonable. Nice little park/site with interesting place in history. Thanks to all. K0BXB
