June ​2017 Backpacking/Hiking/Camping

2017-05-25  After the Porcupine Mountains backpacking trip, in May by son here in town has begun to think this is something he wants to do more of. In fact he went out and bought a backpack, after using a borrowed one on the Porkies trip. I think he got a canister stove as well! Anyway, he wants to take his two kids on a short two day, one night backpacking trip sometime in July. So I'm looking at options in the Kettle Moraine State Forest area.

In addition, my wife and I want to take his kids family camping somewhere, probably at one of the more "recreational" camp sites in the area. With lots of other things going on in June and July, we'll see how it all plays out.
